What's New in Agridata 9.87.02

To view the current version click on the 'Help' menu then click the 'About Agridata' option.

When installing the Agridata update from a cd, if the Operating System is Windows XP with Service Pack 2 the .NET Framework 3.0 will be installed (Windows Vista already has the .NET Framework 3.0 installed). After the framework has been installed you will find that you have a new printer installed called the Microsoft XPS Document Writer. When printing reports if you select this printer it will allow you to save the report as an XPS file (this is Microsoft's equivalent of the PDF file). This file can then be viewed or printed by anyone that can read an XPS document. Any computer with the .NET Framework 3.0 installed, or running Windows Vista will be able to view or print the file. The .NET Framework 3.0 can also been downloaded using Windows Update. Once an XPS file have been created the file could then be emailed or saved to cd and be sent to your Accountant or Trading Standards for example. NOTE: The Microsoft XPS Document Writer is not compatible with Windows 98 or Windows ME.

We are now making Agridata updates available online, with new releases every couple of months or so. If you would like to receive an e-mail with a link to download the online update when it's released, please send an e-mail to Updates@agridata.co.uk with the word Subscribe in the subject and your surname, postcode, holding number, telephone number and Windows version in the body of the e-mail. Once you have subscribed whenever an update is made available, an e-mail will be sent to you with a link to download it. NOTE: There is no additional charge to receive online updates, but your support contract must be paid up to date. You will continue to receive updates on CD, but the online updates will be more frequent. You only need to subscribe once.

Once animals are in a Batch they can be used throughout the program to make selecting the animals easier.
